SHROVE TUESDAY

 

Our Lenten and Holy Season activities begin with a celebration of Shrove Tuesday. The Progressive Adults Ministry hosts a Sunday Brunch on February 15 after the worship service. Shrove Tuesday, on February 17, is the feast day before the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday. A pancake supper has been a Nineteenth Street tradition for more than 30 years. All attending the Sunday worship service are invited to partake.

 


LENTEN WORSHIP SERVICES


Join us at noon Wednesdays for virtual services during this time of reflection, repentance, and preparation for Resurrection Sunday. The worship services take place on Zoom, lasting one hour. Dates and speakers this year are:

2026 LENTEN DEVOTIONAL

The Board of Deacons is pleased to present Sacrifice & Service: A Pathway to Purpose, the Lenten season devotional for 2026. The book provides daily devotions written by members of the Nineteenth Street church family for February 18 through April 4.
