The next Deacons Fellowship will be Sunday, January 4, 2026, in collaboration with the Men’s Ministry. We encourage all of the men to participate. Hopefully, the men who plan to take part signed up last Sunday with Deacon-elect Mario Ashby. If you did not, please let him know today that you plan to participate and the dish you will prepare for the event. We are looking forward to even more men participating this time. This event will kick-off the 2026 Men’s Ministry schedule. Sincerely, Deacon-elect Mario Ashby, Trustee Charlie Sprow, Rev. Jerry Cheatham.

The Deacons are once again sponsoring the Lenten Season Devotional.

The 2026 theme is Sacrifice and Service: A Pathway to Purpose. Your devotional should be no more than one page and contain scripture (with bible version), a reflection and prayer. All entries are due January 9, 2026.

Save the Date - Sunday, January 11, 2026 is Ushers Day.

We are delighted to welcome our new employee, Interim Facilities Manager, Maurice "Moe" Morrow. Moe is an experienced facilities operations manager with diverse skills and expertise in facilities and logistics. Moe started on December 10. Please welcome Mr. Morrow to Nineteenth Street!

Dear Church Family,

Thank you for every prayer, every word of encouragement, and every act of support you have shared. Each kindness has been a living example of Christ’s love in action. You did not just say you cared—you followed the very steps Jesus took in caring for humanity: showing compassion, offering comfort, standing beside me and others in need and lifting us all through prayer. Your faith, generosity, and obedience to His call have strengthened my spirit more than words can express. Because of you, I was reminded that the Church is not just a place we attend, but a family that reflects the heart of Jesus. May God richly bless each of you for being His hands and His love in my life. With deep gratitude and love, Sister Rhonda Glaudé and Family.
