GriefShare Ministry

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.  Psalm 23:4

Are you grieving the death of a loved one? You don’t have to walk this journey alone. At Nineteenth Street Baptist Church, we offer GriefShare, a Christ-centered support group designed to help you navigate the challenges of grief and find hope and healing.

What is GriefShare?
After establishing the Comforting Care Ministry in 2017, we began collaborating with the GriefShare support group. GriefShare is a biblically based program that provides:

  • Support: A caring group of people who understand the pain of loss.
  • Encouragement:Tools and resources to guide you through the grieving process.
  • Healing: Comfort and hope rooted in God’s promises.

Each session includes:

  • Video Seminars: Expert insights on grief and recovery.
  • Group Discussions: A safe space to share and connect.
  • Personal Workbooks: Practical exercises to help you process your emotions. The registration fee is $20, which includes the workbook, directly shipped to you.

Who Can Join?
GriefShare is open to anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one, whether recently or long ago. All are welcome.
