There is Still Time to Support the Stewardship Sunday Fundraiser. The Building Fund Committee (BFC) thanks church family and friends for your support to date of this year’s Stewardship Sunday fundraiser and for being part of the spirit-filled Stewardship Sunday worship service and joyous jazz brunch reception.
There’s still time to support the Stewardship Sunday fundraiser and help the BFC reach this year’s $10,000 fundraising goal. We are raising funds to help cover the cost of the church's conversion to energy efficient digital thermostats. You may support the fundraiser by designating your check or online gift for "Stewardship Sunday." If giving cash, please use an offering envelope and designate your gift for “Stewardship Sunday” on the envelope. Click on the following link for ways to give online at any time: https://19thstreetbc.org/online-giving-information/. You may also give by mailing your donation to the church. Your gift in any amount will be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
The members of the Jarvis Memorial Club extend our sincere gratitude and love to all who helped to make this day special from the morning worship service to the afternoon concert. Brother Storee Denson, Susan R. Carter and Burkett Lyburn and the All Together Gospel Singers made this event a musical delight. Thanks to everyone who supported our annual fundraiser.
With Love, Deacon Sandra Keaton Brown, Jarvis Memorial Club President.
Dear Church Family - We extend our heartfelt thanks to each of you for making Global Missions Ministry (GMM) Sunday such a meaningful and joyful celebration! We are especially grateful for everyone’s contributions—from Pastor Peterman’s powerful sermon to your fellowship and generous support of missions through the Global Marketplace. A special thank you as well to "Guardians of the Village" for partnering with us on the interactive youth activity. The beautiful artwork created by our young people is now displayed on the GMM bulletin board in the breezeway! We are deeply thankful for you and look forward to continuing to carry out God’s Great Commission together. In Christ’s Service, Global Missions Ministry
Dear Church Family and Friends,
The Missionary Society invites you to join us in our church-wide effort to collect new toys and raise funds for the Marine Foundation’s Toys for Tots Drive Anacostia Division on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. in The Wyatt A. James Fellowship Hall.
Begin now looking for sales on toys. We need new toys for children 2-12 years of age. We encourage any families enduring financial hardships to sign up online on the Toys for Tots website (https:www.toysfortots.org) to apply. You need some Christmas Joy for your children.
For our fundraiser, we are asking that you bring at least 3 toys so that we can help support the families of furloughed and fired workers. Whatever you are able to bring will be greatly appreciated.
